Applicants whose ability to complete their dissertation work is compromised by grant funding delays or cancellations will get priority.

All funding must be spent by 12/31/2025.

The DE-INBRE Core Facility Award Program for Graduate Students, supported by the University of Delaware and  the State of Delaware, is available to provide access to Instrumentation and Research Services Cores. These awards will provide students core facility Vouchers, which in the past,  have been used to test proof of concept or provide additional data for publication or grants. For this call, we encourage students that do not have alternative sources of funding for core facility services to apply. Students whose need derives from delayed or canceled federal funding will be prioritized.

To be eligible for this award, the applicant must currently be an actively enrolled graduate student at the University of Delaware working on a project within the research mission of the National Institutes of Health. A full budget must be provided in the application as well as a PDF of a mentor confirmation email containing a statement of need for the applicant and the reason for this need. Applications must also include a PDF of an email confirmation from the applicable Core Director(s) confirming their support for the specific project and the costs.
